Voluminous petticoat by Merry Modes, Inc. This vintage bridal piece was sold as an undergarment for a dress, intended to add cinch the waist and add volume to a skirt, but it could easily be worn on its own today. No fiber contents listed on label. Tiered shell is a most likely nylon, with sheer tulle underneath. Sheer mesh panel at waist to hold in the stomach. Back zipper closure. This skirt was never worn, original paper tag is still attached.
