Chic polka dot pumps by Julianneli for Bonwit Teller Fifth Avenue. The box has “1980” written on it in marker, but based on the style and construction of the shoes they were purchased in the 1950’s or 60’s. These shoes originally retailed for 26.95, which is almost $300 in 2022 with inflation.

These shoes appear to have been worn only once very lightly, possibly to a dinner or show as they don’t appear to have been walked in very far. Soles are smooth with just very slight surface scratching, heels are in good shape. The body of these shoes has stiffened over time, so the fabric uppers are not super pliable. There is one woven spot on one shoe that has slightly frayed at the edges.

Size 7, very narrow (7.5 AA)

Stunning metallic pumps by Julianelli shoes. These art deco style heels come in their original shoe box. The inside of the box reads “[Copywrite] 1960 Frank C. Meyer Co Inc. Brooklyn & Lawrence USA, America’s Greatest Shoe Carton Manufacturers.” Stitching details all the way around the uppers with a wavy shape that hugs the foot. These shoes originally retailed for 39.95, which is almost $400 in 2022 with inflation.

These shoes show signs of wear at the soles, inners, and toes. The uppers and exterior of the shoe are in excellent condition, with no visible scrapes or scuffs. There is a slight crease across the toes just due to the pointed shape of the shoe, this crease would occur with any amount of wear.

A stunning and unique evening bag by A La Reine des Fées. This clutch style bag is a metallic silver/bronze with allover imagery of circus performers. Detailed, colorful figurines of dancers, acrobats, and clowns and shown amongst animals, flags, balls, and stars. This bag has a snap top closure, fully lined in cream silk satin. The crescent-shaped top closure is a metal panel embellished in detailed cloisonné and beadwork. The Parisian luxury handbag company name’s translates to “The Fairy Queen,” a reference to the 1692 semi-opera by Henry Purcell.

This bag was found in the original owner’s home with no strap, but the top of the bag does have two small rings where one could be attached. This piece shows overall signs of normal use, the lining has a few minor marks. There are loose threads and fraying around the edges and corners of the bag. This bag is large enough to hold an iPhone 14.

A lovely gold evening bag fully covered in gold glass beads. Long chain strap allows this bag to be carried over the shoulder, crossbody, or with the chain tucked in and carried as a clutch. Flap top has a single snap closure. This bag is fully lined in a golden yellow satin, most likely a synthetic fiber. There is one small inner pocket compartment.

This bag is in very good condition, it appears to have been unused. The inner lining is very clean with no marks, stains, or other signs of use. There are around 3 beads missing from the top left corner of the bag, see last product image for details. This bag is large enough to hold an iPhone 14.

A crescent shaped shoulder bag in Whiting & Davis' signature metal mesh. This medium sized evening bag features a long leather strap, bag could be worn over the shoulder or crossbody. Zipper top closure, fully lined. Zipper pull is a silver charm with Whiting & Davis' logo. 

This bag is in good condition, with minor signs of wear. Lining is clean with a few very small spots. The mesh is intact with no broken links, the black finish has worn a bit on a few edge spots. This bag is large enough to hold an iPhone 14.

Lovely little evening bag with a sparkling, rhinestone-studded frame. This bag features a greenish-tan metallic shell and beautiful satin lining. 

The shell and lining of this bag both show signs of wear. The trim of the bag has some discoloration, and the thread has visibly worn at one corner. Lining is mildly discolored with a few minor spots, metal frame is missing stones. This piece was found with a broken strap, the strap fabric was repaired in house at greenwoodequip. Priced to reflect condition. This bag is not large enough to hold an iPhone 14.

A lovely beaded shoulder bag by Delill. This flap top bag is encased in stripes of clear and opaque white faceted acrylic beads. Zipper closure, fully lined. One small pocket inside lining. This bag shows overall signs of wear, with some discoloration to the inner lining, beads, and threads. The bottom of the fabric lining is loose at the seams. This piece has been priced down to reflect condition, but is still a beautiful piece with lots of life left!

There was a break in the beaded that has been repaired by hand by a pursemaker. The replacement beads are a color match but are round instead of faceted. Replacement beads are only at the small corner of the bag near the strap, see last product image for details. Not at all noticeable except upon close inspection. This bag is large enough to hold an iPhone 14. 

Inner lining shows signs of wear.

The top four rows of stones are a single solid panel, everything below is a vertical strip of stones that hangs freely, creating lots of sparkle and movement! No missing pieces, but there is darkening to some rhinestones, as is typical for this style of jewelry. Metal details and backing are all silver toned.

This belt makes a lovely jingling sound when worn, lots of movement! Great for festivals, concerts, or a Halloween costume. This piece is fastened with two hidden hook and eye closures, fits 36" at closures. The ends could also be tied or looped to fit smaller measurements, as shown. Beautiful hand painted straw hat by Leena. Brim can be flipped up or down to create different shapes. I couldn't find any additional information on the brand or maker, but the inner label does look quite old.

There are a few bends/creases, as shown in product images. There is one small break to the weave at the top of the hat, not noticeable and will not effect wear, but should be treated gently. Priced to reflect condition.

One-of-a-kind wool hat by Atelier Hats and Jewellery. The hat has both a Henri Bendel label and an Atelier label, likely meaning the hat was purchased at Bendel, with the metal embellishments added on by Atelier. 

From the details regarding an extremely similar hat (1989) from the UK V&A Collection:

“Atelier was established in 1984 by Julian Brogden, and originally specialised in jewellery. In 1986, Cathy Jordan became a partner in the business. They collaborated together to create inventive jewellery, accessories, and by the late 1980s, unusual headwear such as this bowler overlaid with a tracery of silver-plated brass. The conjunction of the silver metal with the traditional City worker's hat creates a stylish variation on an established classic. Atelier bowler hats, such as this one, were created from laser-etched artwork. Some sheets of metal were left in plain brass, while others were oxidised to give an antique finish.

Description: Wool felt with applied laser-etched, silver-plated brass decoration; the domed form achieved by hammering the metal over a wooden form with a mallet."
